Very pleased - very easy to setup (2 minutes with the PoE cameras). Remote access (tablet and mobile) work great. I use one camera over a PowerLine adaptor with no issues. I have 4 cameras, but went for the 8 channel machine for the bandwidth. With 4Meg cameras, I think you would struggle to get more than 2 working at full resolution. One interesting thing - took we weeks to figure out - my LG TV remote will control it! Although not shipped as a machine with remote capability, obviously the circuitry is in all the machines. Pressing volume up on the TV remote controls steps me through the camera view. Even Hikvision did not seem to be aware of this functionality. I updated the firmware - 10 minute job and easy. I updated it to see if it would stop mysteriously changing views (when my wife was using the TV remote in the other room) I would recommend.

All ready had the Hikvision 4 channel NVR, but had added four 3.5MP camera's at the maximum frame rate and I was advised that the bandwidth would be insufficient to support all four camera's so I went for the 8 channel with the higher bandwidth. The delivery was quick and the price was better than expected. As it is POE and pretty much plug and play I only had to swap out the old for the new and then set up the detection zones. The software on this NVR is better than it was on the old 4 channel and swapping out my two Western Digital purple hard drives was a five minute job. Very pleased with the whole process.
