I found that the alternative straight through Rj45 plugs were much easier to get a good connection. Everything else bought at the same time was excellent a very good support if you get stuck.

Had issues getting cables into the plug some worked ok some just didn’t seem to take the cables and as a result we had remake a few ends, we make lots of this type of termination so we don’t normally have problems maybe a manufacturing issue

However, the crimp tool I also purchased was of no use. It was not capable of pushing down the two spiked prongs into the cable. It simply pushed one end down, had to borrow a better tool to complete the job. Perhaps the crimper and connectors are not compatible.
