“Just bought my first batch after lots and lots of research. I have even bought collagen drinks and not used them when I found out they used farmed fish. So happy to start again using this perfect product. It has a very mild hint of fish smell but to be honest would be concerned if it didn’t!!! It is after all manufactured from wild white fish. So it doesn’t worry me in the slightest. In flavoured drinks it would not be noticeable but I add it to plain water. Thank you Hunter & Gather. Will let you know how I get on. High hopes though .”

“As I said above, it has a fishy smell and taste which is ok in a strong coffee but I wouldn’t want it on food or in water.”

“Too soon to see any improvement in my skin from the collagen but I have great faith! I add 2 heaped teaspoons to my morning cereal and another 2 to my first coffee of the morning and can vouch for the fact that it doesn't alter the taste in any way.”

Hey Hilary, we are so sorry to hear that you are not happy with the taste/smell of the collagen you have received. Our collagen is unflavoured however there can be slight differences from batch to batch due to the natural nature of the product. The collagen can also smell stronger on initial opening of the bag, and this normally dissipates quite quickly. If you are not a fan of the taste, then changing what you dissolve your Collagen in can sometimes help - we have some fabulous recipe ideas on our website if you would like to try. 🧑‍🍳 We of course want you to be 100% happy with your Collagen so our customer support team will be in touch to help further.
