“I'm not a great fan of ketchup in general, I like it now and again... but that's the supermarket well known brand version. This ketchup was a taste revelation, no sugary sweetness just full bodied tomato flavour with the herbs and spices giving it a gorgeous rich taste. It has a definite tang to it, but no unpleasant acidity or vinegary stuff going on here at all. Very impressed with this.”

“Add it to most anything if you love Ketchup. Also excellent as a base for making great tasting sauces mixed with a number of other condiments.”

“I was seeking a tomato ketchup that didn't have any sugar added but would also not be too sweet, and was hoping this ketchup would align with those hopes. Unfortunately not. It seems to be - to me - a tomato puree, but still much too sweet for my tastes. I have no doubt that it is a healthier product than the standard stuff sold in the supermarkets but that intensely concentrated sweetness from the tomatoes puts me off just like that of the taste of the standard stuff does. I guess I only like tomatoes in their more solid fruit form and can well do without that hit of over-concentrated sweetness.”

Hey, thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry that our Classic Unsweetened Ketchup wasn't to your taste. We use organic tomatoes as we believe that they are far tastier and richer in flavour and depth ( plus naturally sweet) but we also wanted to ensure the tomatoes we used were free from pesticides residue.
