“Thought I'd give this a try as a change from my usual products I use from Hunter & Gather, I expected it to taste great but unfortunately for me this had a strong fish taste so will go back to alternating between the marine collagen and the collagen creamer which are not as costly.”

“Despite the berry flavour there is an overwhelming unpleasant flavour and and gritty texture (like sand) that has meant that I rarely take it despite purchasing two packets. Disappointed.”

“Agree with others about the taste and grittiness however I use with Dr Berg electrolyte powder and it takes away the bitterness. Not much you can do with the grittiness tho. I have been useing the collagen past couple of yrs. I think my skin appreciates it and nails and hair are stronger. Will continue to use. Just so expensive to deliver to Guernsey!!!”

“I have tried several ways to use this and I’m sorry to say it is just awful in every way . It’s gritty, smelly and not nice to taste at all. I have been using the green collagen peptide and am on my 3rd bag now and it is much better. I would not buy or recommend anyone to buy the rise and glow, hnfortunately a waste of money .”

“I'm struggling to take this in honesty. It's really grainy and has a sharp taste. Tried it in a shake yesterday with frozen raspberries and it's still awful. Think I'll stick with the wonderful unflavoured collagen.”

“I have previously used both marine and bovine collagen from Hunter & Gather which i absolutely love the taste of. I noticed this one and thought being more expensive, it would be just as good, if not better. Unfortunately the taste is not good and I struggle to drink it. I will continue to use as don’t want to waste due to the cost however I won’t be looking forward to my morning regime as much as the marine/bovine.”

You can also try taking it with fizzy water and ice as well as adding it to hot water to make it into a berry tea. 🌸 We also have lots of great recipes on our website which can give you some fun inspiration the "Rasberry Cheesecake Smoothie" is a particular favorite! “This is awful. The taste, the texture, just so gritty. I have had it in cold water which is the worst. In a yogurt which is better but still awful. I am persevering so as not to waste it. But it is a struggle. I will be looking for an alternative collagen supplement once this is done.”
