“I previously owned a Humax PVR which I relied on heavily to record programmes that I would otherwise miss. This newer model has extra features but I preferred the style of menu on my previous model as it was much simpler and easier to navigate around the options. This model has the advantage of three tuners which allows 3 or 4 simultaneous recordings. It would have been ideal if it had the older menu style navigation and I miss some feature of the older model such as placing bookmarks in recordings which I have not found the facility to be present in this model.”
“Was a bit worried about buying a refurbished unit to start off with. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. 100% would buy a refurbished recorder again. I now have 3 Freeview play recorders in my home and they are all working fine the oldest one I purchased in early 2018.”
