“I've given this product a 4 star out of 5 for the reasons below.
I thought it was time my old Humax equipment was updated and am happy with this item except for one point. Please be aware if you have recordings stored on an older Humax model that you cannot transfer these or watch them using this box.
Nowhere in the specifications was it mentioned that it is not possible to download recordings to an external hard-drive or vice-versa, as with older Humax models. I was only informed of this by customer service after delivery.
A compact, prettily-designed little box, with all on-demand and other services working well.
The item was straightforward to set up and control.
The box would have had 5 stars except for the lack of information on this point, although I would probably have made this purchase anyway.”
“I live in an area in North Wales that gets very few channels on Freeview. My new freesat box is great lots more to record that's why i went for the 2 Tb unit, after a couple off days the box synced with my broadband and am now able to receive on Demand by WiFi, some thing i could not get before, it just took a bit of practice and help from the Humax tec support. I would highly recommend the Freesat 1100S 2 TB”
