Not very happy with this machine, nowhere as near as good as my old model which lasted 8 years, there is no sound every time it is switched on have to keep turning it off and on again or have to unplug it from the mains, tried another HDMI cable and another TV slot to no avail, willbe ringing for a replacement or my money back, get ready Humax!

Not as good as my other 3 PVRs that I have purchased from yourselves. Difficult to set up I had the box out 3 times to send it back. I rang Humax helpline and half way through got cut off I never had a call back. As a 75 year old found it most frustrating. Please give me easy set up and not all WIFI and all the extras.PLEASE

Excellent value for money. Really nice set top box for Freeview.

Good enough at what it does. Takes a long time to start from standby - understandable if this was from cold, but my 4 yr old PC wakes virtually instantly from standby. Have not tried the 'connected' features so can't comment on that

The unit was like new and came with the latest wifi dongle. The only disappointment is that the hard drive is noisy, especially when viewing BBC iPlayer on the TV Portal and even when viewing programs when not recording there is occasional noise from the drive heads. The problem has been reduced by locating the recorder in a cabinet. In all other respects I am delighted with my purchase.

I already have 2 Humax recorders. and this one was purchased on behalf of a friend who is absolutely thrilled with it .I would always recommend Humax as good value for money.

also own Freeview 9200T (the most fully featured of them all with picture-in-picture and record editing function) and a Foxsat HDR. This 2000T has a few quirks but learning to live with them eg skip function only works on recordings (and not pause\live when it just jumps straight to live) A month's use and no serious issues or failures, yes there is some disk accessing noise but its nothing like the earlier "hummy" fan noise. Good value and appears every bit as good as new.
