“Looks nice, easy to use, and good functionality. Spoilt by constant noisy chatter from the hard disc. Humax replaced my first unit and the replacement was just as bad. I've now asked for a refund. A shame, as I've had two other Humax units which were perfectly quiet apart from normal but unobtrusive drive noise.”

“I bought this box to replace my previous Humax PVR9200 and 9300 boxes which had reached the end of their lives. So far the DTR-T2000 seems very reliable and does not appear to have inherited the software bugs of previous Humax boxes, so no unexplained freezes, failures to record or disk corruption so far. The user interface is more complex than previous Humax PVR boxes and that is a shame as the original Humax user interface was excellent - easy to read, easy to understand and use. However once you get used to it, it is pretty straightforward to use. Some features that made the earlier Humax PVRs so good are missing, notably the EPG search function which whilst still present is clunkier to use than before. Also missing as far as I can see is a YouTube app - it may be possible to install one but I haven't found out how yet. Overall though the quality of the box is excellent and I am very satisfied with it.”
