Great freeview recorder, purchased to replace my older BT youview box which was running really slowly. My only problem with this new one is the hard drive is incredibly noisy. My old BT one was silent but I can hear the drive in the new box over the sound of the TV. Once it’s out of warranty I’m going to put my own drive in it.

We recently cancelled our Virgin subscription due to the high cost. After doing a channel audit we decided to just use Freeview and purchased a PVR. After a lot of research we went for the DTR-T2000 as it came top of most reviews. After a few issues getting one though Argos we purchased one directly from Humax, It arrived next day and was cheaper than Argos. It is very easy to set up the DTR- T2000. I am very fussy with television pictures, but was over impressed with the HD picture quality of the unit. It is much better than virgins. The programme record features are also very simple to use. It would be nice to be able to record two programmes and watch another, but that is not a show stopper. I would highly recommend the DTR-T2000 it is a great unit at brilliant price.

Really like this box, bought it to replace my last box which we had had for a few years and hammered it to death recording programmes, would highly recommend this purchase.

Replaced an older box which sadly had a disk failure. The new box performs well, and is easy to use and has an identical remote to the first box, an old friend then. I am happy.

Our original you view box failed on us after four years which was very disappointing. We lost all our special recordings. The new box so far is ok. We can see the ongoing upgrades/improvements. We miss the lists of recordings which was useful.
