“This is the third remote control we've had for our Humax PVR, hence the 'poor' rating we've given it. The first remote control never worked properly from day one and quickly drove us crazy as some functions only worked if the buttons (e.g. fast forward) were pressed extremely hard and/or would only work if pressed hard repeatedly. It was truly terrible to use. When we complained after a few months of misery, Humax were really good and replaced it free of charge. However, that replacement developed temperamental behaviour after only a few months and we have now bought our third control for the same PVR. Not what we expect or should get ! I really like Humax products and have bought two PVRs and a 'set top' Freeview HD tuner, but really feel the quality of this remote is far from acceptable.”
