“After my original remote wasnt working properly I contacted humax to replace it it was quite expensive and postage was added on but it's been lovely to have a working remote I just hope this 1 lasts longer than the original did!”
“I think this is the 3rd remote I have had to buy, the simple reason being that the buttons are not strong enough - or something like that! I watch in HD, so most of the channels start with the number 1. It is the No 1 button that always ceases to operate, whether this is due to some sort of oxidisation building on the contacts or other, I have now learnt that it is better to use the channel up and down button to switch between these...”
“Bought this as a replacement for a cheap copy that had given up the ghost.
The difference was immediate. All the buttons were much more responsive and no more checking to see if the button you had pressed was actually working.

“It's great to be able to get a genuine remote from the manufacturer. Generic ones from 3rd party suppliers, purporting to do the job, are always lacking in some functionality. This one has extra access buttons to our original (Freeview, Netflix, etc) so that's handy.
