Incredible location with spotless accommodation. Beach was idilic and so easy to use. Pool was great for our kids. The evening entertainment wasn’t great though, and meant our evenings weren’t as full as usual holidays of this type. Also, the restaurants and snack food available aren’t the best.

Tamarit beach resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a Noa bungalow which was perfect for us with our 3 children. All the bungalows are really well spaced out and surrounded in gardens. We hardly left the resort as it had everything we needed there including the beach. No complaints at all and would visit again!

Overall the site is lovely with a beautiful beach. It was well looked after, always clean and well managed. There were lots activities including evening entertainment. The staff are friendly and helpful. However there were some issues with our Noa bungalow which detracted from our stay. A couple of days in, tiny ants appeared in the kitchen cupboards, which took a few days for the cleaners to get rid of, despite several attempts. In the meantime we had to sweep the floor constantly as any crumbs immediately attracted about 20 ants within a few minutes. We had to pack all our food in bags on the sofa as the ants crawled all over it when in the cupboard. The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable- even the children said so! Everyone woke up with aches from a bad night’s sleep. The double bed didn’t sit evenly on the floor, one leg was higher than the other three. It was also very, very squeaky- turning over caused an unbelievable amount of noise. Sadly, we couldn’t use the outside decking and sofa as we were situated directly under a tree that constantly dropped its leaves and meant a lot of bugs dropped onto the outside sofa, meaning it needed constant sweeping. So in all, we had a good holiday but didn’t enjoy our time in the bungalow, which was disappointing.

We love Tamarit! This was our second visit and it feels as though it has everything you need for a family holiday. The beach is lovely and right next to the resort and within Tamarit there is a fantastic pool, water splash play area, minigolf, soft play, jungle gym area, table tennis, tennis courts, 2 restaurants, a takeaway, a shop, ice cream bar, gift shop, evening entertainment, kids club, adult activities etc etc! In addition this time we visited the castle next to the resort, explored Altafulla which is a short walk along the beach and went on a day trip to Barcelona which was easy to get to on the train. We will be returning again :-)

Accommodation, amenities and restaurants on site were excellent and the beach was lovely. The site was larger than expected and the pool was always overcrowded- for a site of this size it would benefit from a second pool area.

Tamarit was great! Friendly, fun and all we needed for a relaxed beach and pool holiday. The only thing that might have been helpful would have been some information in the acccomodation about the park facilities and options for local trips etc.

Tamarit Park resort was great for families, very close to the beach and lots of onsite activities for kids from pre-school to teenage. The local beach side restaurant was pretty good and reasonably priced and had good views of the beach. It could be quite busy in the evenings though. We didn't try the cafe or takeaway. Accommodation was a good standard and comfortable. The local shop wasn't the greatest but there are a couple of large supermarkets, albeit 25mins walk away, easier if you can bike it. Public transport wasn't great, you can in get a train to Barcelona from nearby Altafulla village. Tarragona is also reachable but again the public bus service isn't the greatest and we took taxis there and back. Its worth a visit though for the Roman sites and medieval town centre.
