“Great recipe. The whole family enjoyed it. Will definitely make it again. Would possibly add peas next time and/or serve with greens.
We particularly liked the crispy gnocchi on the top.
I'd say it serves 5-6 rather than 4 as we had alot left over. (Provided dinner for husband the following day). I also didn't have a pan big enough so split into two dishes for the oven.”
“I used a tin of canalloni beans they were hard and uneatable. There was also too much gnocchi, even though I halved the amount. Didn't really enjoy this recipe.”
“We really enjoyed this but I'd probably do without the chicken and treble the mushrooms as we felt the chicken wasn't adding anything to it but lacked on the mushroom quantities. Made huge portions though and had leftovers for the next day!”
“Absolutely delicious, it is more like a meal for6 rather than 4 . I wouldn’t make any changes other than maybe slightly less beans for me and a little more thyme. I used 6 thighs as that’s what was in my packet. Hardly any washing up either as all one pot. Keep them coming Jamie.”
“Enjoyed the finished dish but will make adjustments to suit us next time - all veg to 400g, one TIN of beans strained, add a stock cube with 250ml of water. Great base to experiment with.”
“Delicious, literally everything I love in a pan. I did serve with some fresh cooked greens on the side.
Thank you Jamie, loving your new series, I have been researching nutrition benefits and balanced foods for a few years now myself, as feeding my family well is top of my agenda every day. Throwing in tins of beans or handfuls of lentils here and there. What I am loving from your programme is recipes with absorption advice. Another area for me to explore.
Thank you Mr Oliver, as ever you are truly inspiring. Health is wealth!!”
