Amazing Yorkies Reviews

5 Rating 27 Reviews
Lovely yorkies, but the amounts of your ingredients listed about is half what's stated in the video, so yields 6 yorkies rather than 12 as stated.

Thank you for the recipe. Can they be cooked and then frozen? And then heated up from frozen?

Thanks for your review and question Mrs Mac. Yes - these yorkies can be frozen after cooking and then reheated. We recommend defrosting them first and then putting them on a tray and in the oven to heat these through.

Hi Jamie! The written recipe differs from your video. For example written recipe is 2 eggs, video is 4 eggs. Oven Temps are different too. I live in Canada and I'm making roast turkey for my neighbor who came here this year from England so I want to surprise him. Please clarify Thank you so much!

Thanks for posting your question on this recipe Eileen. We recommend following the recipe on the website for these Amazing Yorkies, so this is 2 large free range eggs and the oven temp would be 225°C/425°F/gas 9. The video is just to give some extra inspiration and tips for making and serving Yorkshire puddings. We hope you have a lovely festive time with your new neighbour!

Well I'm confused. Recipe says splash of oil but video says 1 cm of oil. Also how much batter in each tin? 3/4 full? To the top?

Thanks so much for your review Ron. So sorry for any confusion, we have updated the recipe as we recommend 1cm of oil. There are some helpful hints with this recipe too and we recommend filling each tin hole about a third or halfway up. We hope you love these yorkies! Big love, The Jamie Oliver Team
