“Great bread rolls, consistency is just right for me with enough chew I feel satisfied, taste is really good, not overpowering, very wholemeal like! I have ordered more and keep them in the freezer. Defrost well too.”
“As a Type 1 diabetic on a low carb eating pattern, I bought one pack of the bread rolls to try them out. Totally 5 stars for the product - perfect size, taste and, consistency. And at only 2.7 grams of carb per roll, I was able to enjoy a 'burger in a bap' without feeling guilty for the first time in years!!!. Also, they freeze well (I froze one to test it out). Excellent.
But, whilst I recognise that this is a highly specialised market so the price of 82p PER ROLL is something I can put up with (you can get a pack of 4 ordinary rolls for 80p in Sainsbury's), but the shipping cost is totally prohibitive - the total cost of my bag of 4 rolls worked out at over £2 PER ROLL. The only way to make these viable is to buy a dozen or so bags at a time - the total shipping cost would still be the same (£4.79), but I don't eat burgers that often and as I only have a standard fridge freezer, I simply do not have the freezer space to bulk buy. So I will buy again as a very occasional treat, but I'm going to have to give three stars until the overall cost has been sorted out.”
“Excellent tasting buns with good bang and texture. It's wonderful to have a keto bread, such as these buns. I use them with hamburgers, and sandwiches such as ham and cheese and beef, cheese and gherkin pickles. I now buy three packs at at time. They freeze really well and when defrosted seem as fresh as new.”
