“Really enjoying these coffees. I bought whole bean, and use them for a chemex. 400ML water to 24g of coffee. Need to experiment a touch with the Colombian to get the flavour right - but the Kenyan was great at this ratio.”
“I havent yet tried the Ethiopian coffee, but the Peruvian and Guatemalan beans are very good indeed. Good flavours, very much as advised by yourselves, and the roast quality and consistency is very good indeed.”
“I guess I am not really the target market. I could not tell the difference between the packs in terms of taste. I found them weak, possibly some strength indicator could help when deciding what to buy? For my taste, it is expensive”
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the single origins pack. In terms of “strength”, lighter roasted coffees are actually higher in caffeine content than traditional dark roasted coffees. We deliberately roast our coffees to a lighter degree to highlight the nuance flavours within them, so you won’t experience the burnt, bitter notes associated with lower quality beans. If you could email us from your order confirmation, we’ll happily look to send something else. Best regards, Team Alt.
“I’m enjoying my single origin triple pack of coffees. Good tasty flavoursome coffee, nice aftertaste. The freshness of the roasting is important, these beans were roasted a few days before being dispatched to me. Prompt service. I’ll buy more .”
