Imagine designing aesthetically pleasing garden paths, sturdy retaining walls, or even functional garden furniture with these sleepers. Their adaptability extends to raised beds for garden enthusiasts looking to cultivate their own vegetable patches or flower gardens. The natural beauty of oak complements any landscape design, offering timeless elegance and functionality.
Whether you're building steps to navigate your garden's terrain or constructing sleeper planters to showcase your favourite blooms, these garden sleepers are the quintessential choice. Their durability means they withstand various weather conditions, making them a reliable option for long-term garden projects. Suitable for a range of uses, from practical landscaping to decorative garden wire installations, these sleepers provide endless possibilities for outdoor innovation.
Our untreated oak sleepers are naturally durable and ideal for landscaping projects as they don't require treatment. However, some people choose to treat them for aesthetic reasons, such as maintaining a consistent colour, or to provide extra protection to cut ends or areas with direct ground contact, Many customers love their natural look, but if you prefer a uniform colour or want extra protection for cut ends or areas in direct contact with the ground, you can choose to treat them for added peace of mind.
Please note: Timber and stone are natural materials, and as such, variation in colour, texture, and natural markings is to be expected. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through imagery; however, colours and shades may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings such as brightness, temperature, and contrast. These variations are not considered defects.

Plus points - communication was great as was delivery with the driver dropping off the timber on time and in the location requested. Negative points - quality of the timber received was generally very poor with only four of thirteen lengths being of what I would have considered an acceptable condition. Yes, with green oak splits are to be expected, but when the split leaves a substantial section of a sleeper barely hanging on I would have thought it would have rendered it not fit for sale. Other sleepers are warped, have bark still attached to achieve the 200x100 profile and one or two appear to be already rotting. Essentially, the image of the neat, square cut section of oak displayed in the item description (granted with a disclaimer) does not reflect what I received.

went to collect them and they were in very poor condition so ended up having to order them from the counter making the click and collect pointless.

Outstanding service, from the telephone call to confirm the order, to collecting the sleeper onsite within an hour of payment. I would highly recommend for getting sleepers for garden use.

Very solid and a good price Some edges are a bit scruffy though - although I'll be hiding these at the bottom of my new raised bed so not really an issue Be aware - they are VERY heavy so you'll need help to handle them
