“About a year ago I bought several 4.8mtr arbordeck decking boards and they were excellent quality. THIS ORDER WAS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE. I was disgusted at the quality of the boards. They were bent/bowed and not all the same width. I noticed 12 in this state originally and had them replaced by the local Howarth site. I treated the rear of the boards prior to laying them and noticed after i had cut and layed lots of them that there were more that were also bowed. I tried to bend them to achieve equal gaps between the boards and as you can imagine this was extremely difficult and frustrating to say the least. I am a perfectionist and when I buy something, especially something so expensive I expect it to be of a quality that is acceptable. Too many of these boards are nowhere near those standards. I have to purchase at least the same amount again to complete the job so would like to know where I stand regards compensation. I have phoned the local Howarth site in Bretton to explain how disappointed and angry I am with this purchase. I was told that the manager would phone me back and this was two days ago and i have still not been contacted, so this has also not been good. I have uploaded one video of one of the boards as an example case.”
