Ordered on line with 3 day delivery. Took over a week. No communication from local yard. I called them 4 times and then they delivered on wrong day. Order was for 7x3 metre lengths. Supplied 4x 3m plus 2x3.6 and 1x2.4m. when I complained that the 2.4 was no good to me I was promised an exchange that never arrived. Other than that wood had splits , knots in the edges and was warped beyond acceptable.

The staff at Thorne were very helpful in producing two 1 metre lengths out of the only length they had in stock which a a distinct bow in its length As a complete aside the web site asked for my full name which I entered. I have two forenames. The computer then proceeded to take my second name as my surname and ignored my real surname. This meant that the order was recorded under a completely erroneous name and could only be located by the order number. Could someone review the computer software and either request one forename and a surname or write a subroutine to identify the correct surname
