We’re sorry to hear that the knit wasn’t quite what you were expecting. Our socks are traditionally knitted using fine gauge machinery, which creates the softer, more comfortable feel our customers love, but we appreciate that the texture and fit can be a personal preference.
We completely understand that being able to see and feel products before purchasing is helpful, especially with something like socks where the weight, texture and fit are important. While we don’t currently stock in National Trust locations, we do work with a selection of independent retailers and country stores. We are always looking at ways to make our products more accessible for customers who prefer to shop in person.
