I cannot honestly give a review as I still haven't received the socks. Even though there have been postal issues it is now becoming ridiculous. Knowing there were issues they should have been sent out by courier. All I have been told is that if they don't arrive I will be sent another pair. Not two pairs or another pair + a refund. Customer service / compensation. Not really.

Hi Martin, Thank you for your order, review and email (which we replied to on 5th December at 10:05am). Your order was placed on the 25th and dispatched on the 28th November as we are closed Satuarday & Sunday. As you know Royal Mail are a little behind with deliveries due to their ongoing strikes however we did offer to post replacements to you if the socks weren't received by 7th December. We haven't had further communication from you therefore assumed the socks had arrived. We'd have appreciated an email or phone call from you regarding this. You didn't select the £7.50 carrier option at checkout, you selected the £3.95 first class post option so that's how we sent your order. We're a small business and like everyone else are feeling the effects of rising costs - we cannot afford to send by courier unless that option is specified and paid for. We cannot take responsibility for Royal Mail but did offer a very fair solution to the problem. We look forward to your reply to our email dated 5th December. Kind Regards, House of Cheviot Team
