“These plants were a Christmas present to myself, I was so in love with them. They arrived packed in plastic bag wrapped and taped very tightly around the plant at the soil level. I had to be very slow and careful to unwrap it without damaging the plant. Once opened, there were many broken leaves and a couple of stems, I do think there was damage in transit and the tightly wrapped plastic allowed zero room for wiggling without breaking. The soil was really hard to examine as it looked like the plants were buried in soil - there are stems and leaves sticking out of the soil. The soil feels spongey but I have yet to be able to get a finger below the surface. Just yesterday, I checked the pot and found white fluffy mould at the base of the plant and had to cut out a few stems to remove it. I am so gutted. I am no longer confident these plants will survive. They are already half the size they were when delivered. Maybe it would be a better outcome if I hadn't ordered in December/January, we have had some cold weather and they were in transit many days.”
