My original order was for the Esra Plant Pot - Shiny Green which was placed on 6 October 2025, Hortology contacted me in the evening of 7 October 2025, by email to advise me when picking my order, it was noted the Esra Plant Pot was not perfect as it had a scrape on the pot and new stock was not due until one to two weeks. I was offered a 10% discount on the item but decided to order an alternative as this was a gift for a approaching birthday and needed for an expensive plant which I had ordered, so I when for the Noor Plant Pot - Velvet Green which was shown in stock. The following day I received a further email advising the Noor Plant Pot - Velvet Green was not actually in stock and would not be due until the next couple of days. I asked in a return email is it usual for Hortology to advertise goods which are not in stock? but they failed to respond. The amended order was received on 10 October 2025, and I found this also was slightly damaged, but I did not report this to them because I manged to cover the defect with a marker pen. This was Not a good experience with Hortology on my first time purchase.

Looking into your order, we can see that we contacted you to let you know the last Esra Plant Pot in stock unfortunately had a small imperfection. When you chose to amend your order, we reached out to explain that the Noor Plant Pot – Velvet Green that you had chosen was temporarily out of stock but due within a day or two. We then spoke with you by phone to confirm the amendment and discuss the stock availability. For clarity, stock availability and lead times are shown on each product page immediately below the size option buttons and update as each size is selected. This will indicate whether an item is in stock (we have at least one available) or currently out of stock with a 1–2 week lead time. We’re very sorry to hear the pot you received had an imperfection. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been, especially after amending your order and the slight delay in its arrival.
