“Despite having paid in advance and as requested, given the time of our flight arrival, there was no taxi available when we cleared arrivals and went to the taxi desk as instructed.
The desk personnel appeared chaotic and unwilling to help with several customers trying to get their booked taxis but being ignored by the staff. I had to stand right in front of the desk and point to my name on one of their booking lists on the desk in order for them to attend to my booking.
Their excuse for no taxis being available was because of the local traffic and all the drivers were in traffic jams. A very poor excuse to cover the chaotic nature of their operation.
If a customer is paying a not small amount for the advertised service and also gives their arrival time as requested by the company, it would be reasonable to expect the company to deliver their service as advertised and also to be aware of local traffic conditions, especially on a small island like Santorini.”
