“Extremely Rude Manager at Airport Transfer
When I arrived at the airport for my transfer in Reus Airport, The manager of the transfer company saw me in a wheelchair and instantly became very rude, dismissive and angry towards me and said that they would not drop me to my hotel, but they would drop me nearby. As someone who has a disability and was being assisted by the special assistance team at the airport, this was very upsetting. I asked politely, what do you mean and the manager continued being rude, shouting at me and said, If I dont leave now with the transfer, they will leave without me. She would not allow me to ask any question and shouted all over me, waving her hands about in a dismissive way and walked off. My special assistance was gobsmacked and said they were sorry I was being treated in this way and advised me to complain after I got my transfer. The woman at Reus obviously saw me in the wheelchair and disliked me instantly. The driver of the transfer also said he was sorry I was treated in this way and said he does not make decisions on transfers, he just does what he is told by the manager. Luckily as the transfer bus only had 3 people on there, the driver helped me with my bags when he dropped me off, but the woman in charge at the airport was dispicable, rude and absolutely disgusting, no way to treat people who have paid in full and in advance for a transfer to their hotel.”
