“I got in contact with “Notting Hill Arts Club” in February for a party we wanted to have through your website. I spoke to Nadine from “Notting Hill Arts Club” and she gave me pricing and told me that she will be more than happy to meet me and explain about the venue. We had a meeting all was perfect, the place was a great match for our party and I asked her to keep the date for us, until we received financial approval from our head office. She said yes and was more than happy to do so. Friday 23/2 I got back to her, asking if it was still available and she said yes. After a few details, she was very happy to do the booking for us and sent the invoice for the deposit. At that stage I told her that I didn’t formally introduce who we are, and when I said we are from the Israeli embassy she hesitated. I asked her if everything was ok and she said yes. We then agreed that she would send me the invoice later that day and book the venue for us. However, that evening I received this email: “Dear Golan,  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  I regret to inform you that we are unable to proceed with your booking at our venue. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and wish you the very best in finding an alternative venue.  Kind regards, Nadine” And there is no doubt why they did want to host our event. This is no other way to define this other than discrimination and antisemitism. I hope that this answers your question about my experience with “Hire Space”, as it was absolutely terrible.”
