“Bought both a fleece lined and non lined version of the all in one waterproof suit to cover all weathers at forest school nursery. Buying both was still £30 cheaper than a competitor version I have had and loved before and they have not disappointed. On day 1 at nursery I was told my son lay down in the stream! When I picked him up the outside of his waterproof was soaking but the inside was completely dry. Velcro cuffs around wrists and ankles make it comfortable to adjust while giving lots of growing room. Material is lovely and comfortable for running around and is super cosy without being bulky and restrictive. Really impressed.”

“This looked lovely in theory but was an odd size for my daughter; far too short in the body and tight around her chest, but very long in the limbs, and she has above average leg length. Furthermore the ankle cuffs were far too big to fit around a 3 yr old’s welly, so it would not have been suitable for puddle jumping. Have never had difficulty with clothes fitting her before (just 3 and I bought 3-4) but I think this brand just does not suit and so we have sent back. Annoying to have to pay for return postage too…”

Hi Rebecca, We are so sorry to hear you weren't happy with the waterproof suit. This is highly unusual and not something we can explain unfortunately as this has never happened before. Our waterproofs are on the larger size, to allow for layers and growing room, but everything should be in proportion. Have you already sent the waterproof back to us? We will assess it when it arrives and come back to you with a more helpful solution. We also apologise for the return postage. “This was my first purchase from Hippychick. I spent a long time searching for a puddlesuit that would be warm, waterproof and withstand adventures of a 2 year old that likes to sit in mud! I couldn't be happier with our Fleece lined puddlesuit. It's cozy and beautifully made. The fabric feels robust and the suit is generously sized giving her freedom to climb, run and swing without being restrictive. Also brilliant design on the hood, it stays up and live the Velcro adjusters on the wrists and ankles. Best of all - it works. She's dry and happy even in the pouring rain. If you made them in my size - I'd have one too! We love it! Claire and Iris”
