“Product is well built and simple to use, with clear markings on both sides - in a variety of different measurements.
It is easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble - don't wash in water that is too hot.
A lot of reviews have commented on the handle/trigger mechanism, and how it can be completely disengaged if you pull too hard - leading to all ingredients falling out of the dispenser. Also, that it was too difficult to re-engage the mechanism after this had happened.
However, I have found it easy to use and quite frankly, to disengage the handle/trigger mechanism you really have to be squeezing the handle very hard - far more than in normal use, and even then there is clearly resistance from the mechanism alerting you not to go any further. Also, to re-engage the mechanism was fairly straight forward.
There have been no leaks during my usage of the product, and even if there were - the lid doubles as a stand/plate to catch any drips.
Obviously, if you are going to put harder, chunkier items such as chocolate chips, currants, raisins into your batters, then this may slightly prohibit the pouring nozzle from closing cleanly and completely. But I'm sure this can be remedied by squeezing the nozzle with a thumb and finger - or even a clothes peg!
Well worth giving a try - especially at the price offered by Highway Garden Centre.
