The Work Sharp Pivot Knife Sharpener is a practical manual knife sharpener that can handle both a basic or fine grind on knives and tools.
The basic sharpening is handled by two crossed carbide elements, while two ceramic rods are used for the fine grind. An additional medium-grain diamond sharpener is perfect for finishing knives, tools and even fish hooks. Thanks to the integrated springs, the carbide elements follow the shape of the blade, making the result much more consistent.
This extremely lightweight knife sharpener can easily fit into a coat pocket or tool box and has an additional lanyard hole.

“It could have been a couple quids lower in terms of the price. It doesn't really sharpen as effectively as some of the cheaper sharpeners I have (I'm talking about sharpeners in similar construction). The button on the carbide side, doesn't really seem to be working in my case. I thank heinnie haynes as they offered appropriate customer service, as for some reason I didn't receive it along with my order earlier and it was shipped separately. It took almost 40 passes to actually achieve the edge which I achieved with 12 passes on my cheaper sharpener... By cheaper I mean- under £2. However, it deserves 4 stars due to the fact that there's a dedicated sharpening surface for other tools.”

“What can I say this little work sharp sharper is brilliant. I'm no good at putting a edge on blades this thing is so easy to use and so cheap my pocket knives are now fantastic really pleased I bought it.”

“I bought two of these, and gave one to my son. It's a smashing little tool, and the unlock feature on the carbides a real winner. It's small enough for the pocket or belt pouch and robust enough for axes and tools. Makes short work of knife blades (even D2 steel), and inexpensive enough to replace IF it ever wears out. Superb!!! Thanks for the usual swift service, HH...”
