I'm satisfied.. Joseph Rodgers, formerly William Rodgers (Fairbairn & Sykes) makes the best of sheffield blades. My British Army Knife works excellent, and its sharper than my wife. Greeting from Germany - yours Hans Todt

This thing has heft. It's much larger than I expected but in a good way, and won't suffer from the issue of other folding knives where the blade is inaccessible with gloves on. It didn't arrive super sharp, but I'd been hoping to learn a little bit about how to sharpen knives properly anyway. A welcome addition to my gear.

Arrived in good time. Just as advertised. Knife seems to have a good edge. Will be interested to see how it wears.

Bought this one to replace the one i thought i'd lost.Day after this one arrived i found my original in my hunting and fishing gear.Sharp out of the box, easy to sharpen, cracking everyday knife. They must have made a small design tweek as the new one feels slightly smaller in the hand. The spike seemed to have a small amount of movement when closed, once opened solid as rock, no worries.I gifted the new knife to my brother, he was happy as a dog with two tails.Once again, spot on Heinnie Gang.I will, no doubt come back again.Cheers Rob.

Good: sharp and solid. The only issue is the lock back system is so tough I can only unlock the blade with two hands (squeezing with both thumbs as hard as I can!). It can't be designed to be this stiff (surely?) So I assume this one wasn't quality checked before supplying.

Sadly this was a real disappointment when it arrived, having been in the army and had a few of the actual issued ones this one is certainly not a genuine army issue knife as it has no MOD identifying markings and the originals were made by G.Ibberson Ltd Sheffield. The gauge of the steel used is thinner than my original, the quality of the pressings for blade and tin opener is very poor in comparison and why have such large writing on it??? the only reason I bought it was that the blade on mine has a broken tip after many years use. I doubt this one will last as long sadly.
