Ordering from Heinnie Haynes was, as always, seamless. The stove arrived quickly and was packaged simply and effectively. Pulling it out of the box, my first thought was, "Is this it?" It's just a flat sheet of titanium, which highlights its ultralight philosophy. The craftsmanship is immediately apparent—the laser cutting is clean and the folding tabs are precise. The real test was at the campsite. Setting it up was a 30-second job: just fold the six sides into the hexagon shape and you're done. Its stability, once formed, is much better than I expected for such a lightweight item, there's a primal satisfaction in brewing a cup of coffee over a tiny, self-fed wood fire. It turns a routine task into a small, enjoyable ritual.
