“I have a drop point version of this UK friendly pocket knife and I absolutely love it. Fortis means, "Strong," and it is. The relatively short blade cuts down leverage on the pivot and most importantly the extended tang gives you real security in terms of reassurance that it won't snap shut on your fingers, which I think is it's main feature. Also, decent steel at 14c28n. I've seen a reviewer make a tent peg with one. I'll be acquiring one of the hawks bill models next. We all look for UK legal, reliable pocket knives that don't feel like a compromise and for me this is it. Love it, highly recommend it.”
