Junzi is a Chinese philosophical term often translated as "gentleman" or "superior person" and employed by Confucius in his works to describe the ideal man! We like to refer to the Junzi knife as the ideal knife for that "ideal man"!
The Junzi is a non-locking sub 7.6cm (3") blade making it legal to carry within the UK at the owner's discretion. So what else makes the Bestech Junzi so special? Apart from it being one of the finest UK friendly carry knives we have, it also has a black DLC (Diamond Like Coated) 14c28n stainless steel blade with ambidextrous thumb studs and a practical upswept profile. The handle is G10 in a choice of colours with a sturdy pocket clip attached.

“The actual Bestech Junzi is better but overpriced for what it is. Twisted Assisted had the smarts to recognise the design was perfect for UK legal EDC and swap out the materials to make it more appealing. It's the positioning of everything which makes it work on this knife, the choil and the jimping work together with the jumping on the spine for a perfect grip. This is something I often look for on slipjoints, it's a major buying signal for me. Thumbstuds are placed well for ergonomic opening, not too far back against the frame. The spring retention is weak but snappy detents and the choil grip make up for this. But seriously the spring retention is less than you would expect. Not at all an issue for me but worth making you aware about. The half stop is a good actual half stop and the detents sounds are sharp and clicky. Blade is sharp but all 14C ships with a sharp edge because it's easy to sharpen.”

“This is one the best uk legal carry's I have bought, and I have a few. Walk and talk is excellent, ergo's are excellent, build quality is excellent. Comes hair shaving sharp out of the box. Firm snap when opening and the back spring is strong. Finger choil with the thumb jimping means full control and confidence with no closing on the fingers. This is up there with the UKPK for me, ok the steel won't hold an edge as well as but it's easy to sharpen, kind of a high end budget steel. I'd like to see this in N690 or VG10, but that's just my personal preference and for the price I can't complain. I also really like the weight, feels solid but not a hindrance in the pocket. The green G10 scales with the black DLC coating on the blade looks spot on, my personal favourite combo. They've nailed this one, and the competition should take note, this is how it's done. Get one, you won't regret it!”

“I was captured by the overwhelmingly positive reviews on this pocket knife and took a punt. Im so glad I did, you can feel the quality.The D2 steel on the blade is very sharp and easy to maintain and the action is smooth and simple. This is a well designed knife with a good shape that helps prevent accidental closure on the fingers. Im using it daily now and I love it.”
