Svord Peasant Mini Reviews

Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

The very popular Svord Peasant knife is available here in a smaller, "Mini" form.It features the same high carbon stainless steel and simple but effective textured plastic handle. The tang raises above pivot when the knife is in the closed position. These knives are extremely popular, and are extremely "rustic" in their construction. It is not unusual for customers to be suprised at their "no nonsense" fit and finish. For an everyday, usable knife, this is wonderful. If you're looking for a work of art, this may not be for you.The non-locking blade is under three inches and is therefore legal to carry within the UK at the owner's discretion. It is available in a choice of eight different colours.

Honestly for price and quality, you CANNOT do better than this little everyday driver. Although friction based, the blade feels super safe. It holds an edge for a long time and fits perfectly in my pocket. Get one, you will not be disappointed!

Knife is fine apart from the common problem where the tip of the blade touches a screw on closing, which will eventually dull the tip. Simple design flaw which could easily be rectified by the manufacturer. Otherwise a great knife.

This is my second svord mini after losing the first one. Great little knife, that holds it's sharpness we'll. Blade itself isn't polished to a mirror shine, and the handle is utilitarian at its peak, but that's part of it's charm. Holds up to most everyday uses from box opening, fruit cutting to using to split down kindling this knife can step up to the task. Folding mechanism makes it supersafe to use when in use as your grip essentially locks the blade open. I'd recommend this knife to anyone for carrying everyday and for a knife when camping and hiking as well.

Have the orange version from quite awhile and now the black. The latter looks more sophisticated. The unpolished section of the blade appears to have disappeared from my new buy. Prefer the older version. Still , a sharp blade and my version opens and closes well. A great and simple design. Bought the smooth leather sheath to go with it to keep the knife shut in my pocket.. The smooth leather one is an extremely tight fit . Let's hope it rides up with wear !

Carbon steel not stainless. Simple to sharpen unlike 'super' steels. I fashioned a wooden one piece handle from cherry. Perhaps the anti Spyderco in terms of cost and peasantry.

Bought this knife to add to my mini collection tin of EDC knives I have been using it as my EDC since it arrived It was sharp from the packing It has proved to be very useful and up to the job I have the orange version I' like the idea of it being an old design

Honestly a fantastic knife. Sharp. Fidgety. Easy to work with. It punches way above its price point in terms of satisfaction, cutting and use. Amazing value.
