“I've owned my Old Timer for a couple of months, so enough time to form an opinion. First of all, it's heavier than I imagined - I think 'solidly made' would describe it. This is not a bad thing, because it gives a reassuring feel to the knife even if you notice it more in your pocket. When it first arrived, I had a bit of trouble opening the blade one-handed. That has resolved itself and now it swings smoothly open and closed (once unlocked). I'm unable to snap it open, but I'm seldom in that much of a rush to use the blade, so not a problem. The Old Timer cuts well enough and I've had no need to re-sharpen it as yet. The pocket clip allows a very secure, deep, tip up carry, even if the clip appears slim for its task. The knife is certainly less obtrusive with minimal metalwork on the outside of a pocket. Fit and finish are very good and I'm happy to put this knife to more use out on a ramble where its locking 'pedigree' would be easier to justify. I'm pleased to add this Old Timer to my collection and, as I've said in previous reviews, Heinnie's delivery was fast and problem free; long may that continue,”
