The Schrade Uncle Henry Next Generation Bowie takes the traditional Bowie form and creates a knife with a substantial and long blade which is extremely practical as an outdoor using tool.
The blade is 25cm, almost 10 inches, long with an extended mid section and clip point and is made from 7Cr17MoV stainless steel. It benefits from a full tang design and nickel silver bolsters and pins. The handle is very tough synthetic Staglon. It is supplied with a black nylon sheath with a belt loop.

Like a Highland bowie in fair enough steel but CHEAP!!!!!!!!! This is a steal at the price point, well made, I even like the faux stag handle. Like I said nice fit n finish & the steel isn't jst 'Stainless' I think it's 7cr**** so a step up from basic stuff & the price is stupid cheap for a bowie the size of a WWll bayonet'How dya feel old man''Not bad for a guy who's had 2 foot of steel crammed into him'*the last foot was overkill after it went through. Release your inner Kurgen with this big 4$$ bowie.-the views of the individual does not represent the views of Heinnie or John 'Q' Law yo!!!!!!-Lol

Schrade's Uncle Henry next generation Bowie is a substantial handful (as well as a mouthful!)I would have preferred a shorter blade, 6-8" but couldn't find one with a suitable handle. It's reassuringly solid, with a comfortable, non slipping handle that fits in one's grip nicely. A full tang knife that looks & feels far more expensive than its extremely low price. It came in good time, with a Sharpe blade and a very good sheafe. The icing on the cake is the adjustable "popper" clasp that holds this large knife very securely in its smart and strong black sheaf, held together, not by stitching, but un- breakable lovely black rivets. Not sure if it will get much use around my flat( (Burglers beware) but outside on hiking, camping expeditions it'll definitely show it's worth, even building a log cabin is possible with this massive Bowie, thank you Uncle H!Much Love, Dave.

This is a good knife for the money.. Always wanted a straight Bowie blade without the big wide belly as it's more reminiscent of the original Bowie knife used in the infamous "sandbar fight" with the legendary Jim Bowie..OK, so it's not premium steel & it's not real stag, so what, it's 35 quid !! Pretty sharp too & although the sheath ain't leather, it's really well constructed with excellent quality rivets & large size belt loop.. Well happy ?

Gonna hav to get this. Its the same steel as the £150 one & it's £35??!!!!!! Nxt Gen Bowie I think they mean its for ighting Klingons on & off the starboard bow. They'd prolly run upon seeing it with their Mars bar foreheads quivering as they went. I reckon you could prolly put it up against a lightsabre too due to its length. Nxt Gen it most definitely looks and Nxt Purchase too jst to hav a cavalry sword masquerading as a knife in the collection
