The Heinnie Haynes® series of exclusive editions in association with some of the knife world's most respected makers continues with the Spyderco Urban Heinnie® Edition.
What does the Heinnie® red stand for? Responsible, law abiding knife ownership in the UK. Over the years we have built up a line of red handle knives which conform to the UK knife laws: the blade doesn't lock and is under 7.6cm (3ins) long.
The Spyderco Urban Heinnie® Edition is the latest addition to this line. It was already one of the most popular knives in the Spyderco line up due to it's perfect carrying and using size and now has the famous red G10 treatment.
Carry your Heinnie® red knife with pride.

This is a lovely little UK legal EDC knife, fit and finish are great. The red G10 scales are a great addition, nice and grippy.I too have taken off pocket clip as I don't use it and I think it feels better without.Great product and the usual great service and delivery from HH

I'd really love to give this five stars, it's a great little knife, serious steel, good blade shape (I prefer the regular urban blade shape but that's just personal preference based on what I'm using it for) and ergonomics. The g10 handle is very grippy and I prefer the additional weight over the non Heinnei version. However, the edge while well finished (probably 1500 grit) wasn't particularly sharp and needed sharpening before use, two of the three screws were very loose causing a few mm of play in the blade until tightening... My biggest grip is that the back of the blade on one side had a very sharp edge with a ridge, to the point that I have an approx. 2cm long slice in my thumb from closing is after tightening the bolts. So I've had to flatten that off to avoid it happening again. On the first night I found a few small mystery slices on my finger but didn't realise it was from closing it. Only worked out today that it was from the back edge of the blade. I'm guessing most people buying knives at this price point have sharpening and tightening tools so it's not a deal breaker but is pretty disappointing and should probably be addressed since I saw another review complaining about how sharp some parts (that aren't the blade edge) are. Undeterred I've just bought a native 5 midnight blue since I haven't encounter these issues with any other spyderco.

Great little knife; the fit and finish are spot on. The S90V steel takes and holds a wicked edge and the G10 scales are comfortable and well made. I took the pocket clip off as I don't use it and it makes it slightly less bulky in my pocket.I find it kind of reassuring to just hold, rather like a fidget spinner, or worry bead.Anyone looking for a non threatening every day carry knife should give this gem some consideration.
