Spyderco Sage 6 Carbon Fibre S90V Folding Knife Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

The sixth installment in Spyderco’s unique Sage Series, the Sage 6 showcases the Button-Release Compression Lock® pioneered by custom knifemaker Kevin Smock. A novel variation of the Sal Glesser-designed Compression Lock mechanism, it not only makes closing the knife simpler and easier but also establishes the Sage 6 one of the most “fidget-friendly” models. This elite Sprint Run expression of the design supercharges it with a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM® S90V® particle metallurgy stainless steel and solid carbon fiber scales. The enhanced, vanadium-rich blade steel offers a superior blend of edge retention and corrosion resistance, while the peel-ply-textured scales balance stunning aesthetics and a non-slip texture. Like all Sage models, this limited-edition knife features a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for discreet tip-up carry on either side of the body.
Spyderco will donate approximately 5% of sales of the Sage line to the National Alzheimer's Association Denver, Colorado Chapter. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association provide care and support to families in Colorado coping with Alzheimer's disease, as well as fund national programs and research to ultimately find a cure.

Great service and fast delivery, as always!I simply had to have this one. Every single thing about it is well thought out and well balanced. To everyone whose removing the 2nd detent ball, you don't have to. Just oiling the pivot feels like sliding on glass after about 200 flicks. This could be a one and done. And the button, perfectly centred open and closed.Just look at the screws inc on the pivot. They're ALL T8. Nothing to strip out here!. Taichung does it best!
