Rough Ryder Backwoods Bushcraft Barlow Reviews

4.4 Rating 5 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

Here's another cracking little knife from Rough Rider. The Barlow is a real favourite of knife users and collectors as it is one of the oldest penknife models still made today. It has been given the Backwoods Bushcraft treatment by Rough Rider and looks like the kind of knife that would be your indispensable companion in your day to day life. As both it's clip and pen blades are under three inches and non-locking it is classed as UK legal carry.

A very neat and tidy little knife that is always going to be handy, it fits perfectly in my jeans watch pocket... Well made, quite sturdy with very sharp edges, perfect for any occasion you need a blade for the smaller jobs you might come across..

This purchase was disappointing. The first impression is fine, though a closer look revealed dented and(!) non-centered edges. There also gaps between the back spring and the liners. Either this is a monday item or your typical china-made knife.

Rough Ryder Backwoods Bushcrafter Barlow.Another beautiful looking Rough Ryder.Looks a bit different with blackwash clip point and pen/spearpoint blades with amber saw cut bone scales, copper bolsters, pins, shield and steel liners. It really stands out. Love the R engraved on the bolster. The fit and finish to my knife are excellent. Secure half stop on the blades. The blades are razor sharp. A great hand built piece which comes in a lovely looking display box.Absolute bargain of a price for the knife you get.Hennie Haynes have been brilliant again with great sales care and service.

Nice little substantial and weighty for it's size, double bladed penknife.
