RoseCraft Blades’ Piney River Peanut Stag is a compact, single-blade slipjoint built for neat everyday tasks. The 53 mm clip point in D2 tool steel has a brushed satin finish, swedge and half-stop for controlled opening and closing, with a classic nail nick. Genuine Red Deer stag covers sit over steel liners with brushed steel bolsters, giving a traditional pocket-knife look without the fuss. At 74 mm closed and about 57 g, it disappears in a coin pocket - ideal for opening post, trimming loose threads or light food prep. Original pattern by Andy Armstrong

“A few sharp edges on the handle, which were easily rectified, and now this knife is sheer perfection,,, the stag covers are fitted without a single flaw, and the blade is perfectly centered,, It has quite a strong spring, so I'll have to practice opening and closing it, as it's very small,, and Very sharp.. If I lost it, I'd buy another straight away, it's that good,, Highly recommended by me,,”

“This is a well made knife, that makes people smile due to its small size. A stag handle is not fully symmetrical, which I find attractive. A slight problem is that the fingernail nick is in the middle of the blade. This gives you not much leverage, when you open it.”

“This is not the knife I was expecting…….. it’s so much more! Small in stature but big in presence. The fit and finish screams quality and the stag is so tactile I just can’t leave it alone in my pocket. The blade was razor sharp straight out of the box with no need for stropping. If you are looking for a small knife to do a big job then look no further. It’s now my favourite EDC. Speed of delivery and customer service from Heinne Haynes is unbeatable. Highly impressed!”
