The RoseCraft Blades Overall Creek Farm Hand Denim Micarta features a 7.37cm (2.9") D2 drop point blade with a brushed satin finish. The blade is 2.7mm thick and includes a half-stop for added functionality. This one-bladed traditional slip joint is the first RoseCraft traditional knife to be crafted without bolsters. It’s built with steel liners, nickel silver pins, and a birds-eye pivot. The handles are made from genuine Black Sandalwood with a diamond-checkered grip for enhanced handling. The knife measures 10.16cm (4") closed, 17.53cm (6.9") overall, and weighs 71g (2.5 oz). This design reimagines traditional farm and ranch patterns, brought to life by Andy Armstrong.
A note about RoseCraft’s wood handles: Wood is a natural material with unique grain patterns. Each knife is one-of-a-kind, and while yours will share similarities with the pictured variations, it will have its own distinct character.

“I needed a new work knife after my clasp knife failed, I wanted a good steel that I didn't have to keep sharpening like my victorinox. Anyway the knife came sharp as a sharp thing but of course I had to subject it to the stones cos that's what I do, the workmanship is very good, by far the most expensive knife I've bought and by far the best presented, fit and finish is excellent and the blade holds it's edge very well, the spring tension is on the firm side and doesn't fold up like the sak on the strop, happy fingers! There's a half stop that is reassuring in it's solidity again happy fingers”

“Not discussing sharpness. D2 - Nuff said! Nicely presented and really well finished. Satin polish on the reassuringly substantial blade, other metal parts seem a tad shinier, even the inside face of the spring (which I like 'cos I do like to keep a pocket knife thoroughly clean. You never know what it will be used for next!) Clean classic lines. Just enough texture and flare on the grip for it to feel secure in a sweaty hand. Nice weight and balance. Classic lines - I wouldn't feel ashamed to pull it out of a suit pocket to slice a piece of fruit... Details I like: A good big nail pocket and the way the ricasso extends into a short spine while smoothly blending into the cutting edge. Stylish! Only fault found: When closed, the visible corner of the blade is somewhat sharp, presenting a serious threat to pocket linings. A few minutes with a fine diamond stone and all is well!”

“Exceedingly pleased with this knife and in all honesty I give mine a 10/10. I can't fault it. The build quality is excellent. There is no gapping anywhere. The blade centering is spot on. The walk and talk is crisp and snappy at around a 6/7 pull. The half stop is clean and clear. There is no blade wrap. The denim micarta grips are very attractive and the riveting is flush and all round the finish is bob on. The blade is sharp out of the box. I have been using it daily around the farm as it is designed for and it's a great farm knife.”

“I was delighted by the fit and finish of this knife. The Micarta handle is extremely comfortable to hold and is elegant. The blade is extremely sharp and required no stropping. The action is firm with no play. There is no gapping at all on the knife; it is almost as if it was one solid piece. It is well balanced in use and I would not hesitate to recommend this, particularly at this price.”

“Excellent fit and finish is a given with Rosecraft folders in my experience of over a dozen purchases. The denim micarta is an excellent choice for the covers, it looks good and is very hard wearing and stable. The tip of the blade is a good distance inside the handle when closed which I appreciate from a knife and allows years of sharpening without the tip sticking out of the cover down the line. To sum up great quality , great value, highly recommended for edc.”
