The RoseCraft F2 Fixed Blade features an 11.3cm (4.4″) 1095 carbon steel upswept blade with a black powder coating. It’s 3.7mm thick with full tang construction. The removable handle covers are green linen Micarta with hunter orange G10 underliners and a lanyard hole. It’s 22.8cm (9″) overall and comes with a universal mount Kydex sheath. The RoseCraft F2 makes a great camp cooking knife or skinner.

“Most reviewers say little or nothing about this being a flat-grind knife, a mere notice of the upswept blade. 'It'll probably be a a good general camping knife, good for slicing and food prep, this is a skinner's blade.' In practice: the 'see-saw roll' capability of a blade with a belly and an upswept tip makes it far better for finely chopping and mincing herbs and garlic on a flat surface. The extra length of the blade at 11.3cm makes it far better for cutting, slicing and chopping vegetables, fruits and bread. At 0.37cm a thick 1095 Carbon Steel, square-edged spine on a fire-striking knife. Fewer and fewer campers skin animals in food prep. At 6.2 oz. (176g.) it's disappointingly heavy, therefore 3* from me. A vegetarian most of my adult life, I don't skin animals. I can razor-sharpen this 1095 Carbon Steel blade on a nearest rock. Good but not a 'keeper' for me.”
