I work in the security industry. This flashlight is ideal as there are different settings for the brightness from 15 to 6500 lumens. The flashlight also has a strobe function ideal for diffusing a situation. 5 Stars.

I never used to be a fan of built-in batteries, but this series of lights (including the edc 27, 33 and 35) are more than capable of running for longer than I need them to. I also always have more than one light handy, so this isn't the issue I worried it would be. I was also concerned about the short turbo duration. However, this is primarily a self-defence option so 7-10 seconds is long enough for this purpose. This is actually a 1200 lm light with a short turbo of 6000. And boy, that 6000 is quite a supernova! Best features include being able to select the output on the lcd before you turn it on and the hardware lockout switch. At last! No fiddly lockout function! A great light if it fits your specific requirement. If you are law enforcement or security, this is a great option. If you want a do everything edc light, it may not be suitable, but I for one have been impressed by it.

This is a superb torch which carries well in the jeans pocket. It is solidly built but it will not withstand immersion in water nor a drop from height. It has a locking button (to prevent accidental turn-on in the pocket.) This torch is brighter than the sun. It has a strobe function too. It's very easy to carry, holds its charge well and is extremely impressive.
