“Nice multitool, I know it's designed to be a key chain tool so bear that in mind for what I say. However, I'd say that it could really do with being an extra cm long. Some of the tools are just a bit too small, especially the knife and pliers. whereas the file is excellent. Personally I'd prefer a can opener rather than a bottle opener. A lovely colour, and worth it if you want a slightly large key chain multitool.”

“I liked it until I used it. The bottle opener failed on first use. The restraining bar gave way so it bent too far backward. HH replaced it straight away, but the second one failed just the same (not even on a big bottle top - the baby-sized beers that just give you a little taste). One is forgivable, two points to an inherent flaw. The tiny slide-out keyring was much looser on the second one too, it didn't feel secure. No more NexTools for me. It's for backpacking, maybe I just need to carry a bottle opener?”

“Fantastic multi-tool. I also own a Leatherman Wave+ and this Nextool gives it a real run for its money. I'd go as far to say that this feels better in the hand than the Leatherman Wave+. Sure, the Wave+ has more tools, but it's also 4x the price. This is the ideal budget keychain multi-tool. Excited to see what Nextool put out over the next few years.”

“I was EDC’ing a Swiss Champ (I rate the SC very highly) on my belt but quite frankly the weight was frustrating. This little guy came to my attention, price great, weight great, functions great. I have a Victorinox Rambler on my key ring so with the combo of this and that I have almost everything afforded to me by the Champ but at a significantly reduced weight. This mini tool is excellent, I can’t believe it retails so cheaply, if they’re in stock (there’s a reason they’re quite often sold out!) just get one.”
