This limited edition Midgards-Messer folding knife has only 200 available worldwide.
Exclusively available with a Drop Point blade, the Shield sights is the first UK Carry Friendly folding knife from the masters of heft, Midgards Messer.
With an almost 5mm thick blade, and a 16mm thick handle - the Shield Sights is a force to be reckoned with.
The D2 carbon steel blade may be used as a non-locking folder, though each knife comes with a threaded pin that can inserted through the handle and blade to secure it in the open position, effectively making it a useful fixed blade, for when the occasion requires it.
The handle is made from blue-anodized Titanium with a circular sight motif cut from both scales. The pocket clip is Titanium and a lanyard hole allows the user a choice of carry options.
Supplied win a Midgards Family Hard plastic Clip-Case.

Between the thick scales, thick blade this knife is thick enough to stand on its own, on display, without the need for a display stand.

My wife and the magnificent staff at Hennie got together to send this out to me as a surprise present. My first midguards knife and I love it. I have quite a few knives in my collection and it is the engineering and mechanics of knives that interest me. This one is most certainly over built a veritable pocket chainsaw. I love the retro aircraft gun sight on the handle and the blade from that thick to a razor edge. Can't fault this knife on anything. Now I want more.

My first Midgard-Messer and I'm very happy with it.A seriously rugged piece of engineering…Chunky although still feels light in the hand.I'm normally drawn to the more traditional style pocket knifes but change is good, right. Not sure about the locking pin, bit fiddly and concerned about UK legal carry rules. The locking pin is probably something that I wouldn't use anyway so problem solved, I'll leave it in my knife box.Great service and delivery from HH as usual

I'm a big fan of Midgards Messer, but not so much tanto style blades. I like their chunky designs and solid feel in the hand. So, when Heinnie got hold of this drop point version of the Shield Sights and at a cheaper price, I didn't hang around. The scallops and jimping offer a secure grip and with the additional screw pin inserted the knife can be used with complete confidence.
