Kizer Begleiter Micarta Black - Fixed Blade Reviews

4.8 Rating 4 Reviews

The Kizer Begleiter is more commonly known as a folding knife. This one, however, is a fixed blade knife with the same slim form and quality that the folder in known for.
It's built with a D2 steel blade with a black coating and a full tang giving the knife an innate strength. It has a full bellied shape which makes it the perfect all-rounder; great for skinning, bushcraft and general camp chores. The flat grind also means it is ideally suited to food prep.
It is supplied with a Kydex sheath with leather loops for attachment to just about anything.

“This is a really nice little fixed blade and I can see why so many folk really rate it. It's incredibly light and easy to carry yet it has plenty of handle (with good ergonomics) and a lovely little spear point like blade. The kydex sheath is really well finished too, with excellent retention and a nice thumb ramp that helps with deployment. In my opinion it feels like a mini Esee Laser Strike would. I'd be happy with this knife it it cost upward of £120 but, as it happens, it's half that price!”

“Fantasic build quality and the fit and finish is solid as always from Kizer. Sharp and slicely blade, holds an edge very well. The included sheath is high quality but i'm not a huge fan of the fixing method provided on it”

“Another great hit by Kizer. If this were made by ESEE it would be well over £130 . The materials are bet similar. the build quality is excellent , it's super light and thin behind the edge, great retention on the kydex . A brilliant EDC or FFG bushcrafter , thank you Santa and HH”
