The Helikon-Tex Bushcraft Satchel is the perfect bag for your next bushcrafting trip.
Helikon-Tex have designed a shoulder bag, not too big, not too small and perfectly suited to its specified use. It has a wide YKK zippered main opening for easy access plus an abundance of Molle loops to add pouches and pockets when required. There are two side pockets for your favourite knife or folding saw and two "bottomless" pockets for an axe or other larger items.
Plus there is a front zippered pocket for smaller but equally vital bits and bobs. The strap is adjustable for high or low carry making it a very comfortable bag to use for a day trip or longer excursion.

Bought this satchel as a replacement work bag. Didn't realise the dimensions until received - specs were clear to see here on HH. It's quite big, bigger than I wanted. It seems tough, though maybe a bit thin? I have other Helikon Tex gear, and all products are high quality.Look at dimensions.HH great as ever.

Had mine a couple of years now, used as a field bag and daily work bag, such is its flexibility. At around 17 litres, its tempting to overload it (and you will), so buy an additional shoulder pad. Dry bags needed for anything like electronics or spare clothing as it will wet-out quickly in bad weather. Nothing has broken or fallen off and it attracts positive comments. Light, capacious, hard wearing, and thoughtful features make it a winner.

I've had one of these since they first came out, in stunning 'Coyote', er, brown sand. First off, yes they are single skin, no, they are note really 'waterproof' - at least not for North West Wales. But I have filled this bag to the brim, and it hasn't let me down yet. There's nothing on it that is just for show (except for the little logo), and no more than you need, in my opinion. Light and hard-wearing, I've no complaints. There are of course always more expensive, more tactical options out there but if you just want a handy good looking bag that's also kinda retro - this is the one for you. Comes in other colours than dirty sand, which is nice.

Over the years I have spent so much money on bags. I have way too many, some never used. Being a Birder, and about to up take Fishing. I needed a bag mainly to put in a small spotting scope, bridge camera, food and water. Plus gas/small stove. Small fold up seating mat. I studied all of the reviews, looked at other brands. From that I got one. Without question, it is better than a rucksack, extremely well made. With my gear above, I even have space for a fleece and a little more. This bag won't let you down, it's light, and super strong where the strap meets the bag. More than happy, highly recommend. The surprising thing, with all of the above, the price is quite incredible. Value for money, and it will last. All the best Gerry

Just the right size for a day in the woods or an EDC. Great quality and reasonably priced. Makes a change to the rucksack.

I have taken this out quite a bit & it is fast becoming my favourite field bag. It's very comfortable to wear all day & all pockets etc a easily to hand without having to break stride- something you can't do with a rucksack.I particularly like that this can be rolled up into a stout tube about the size of a can of beans, which makes the bag Very useful as a day bag to be stuffed into your main rucksack or similar.Bag is quite waterproof , well made & will probably give several years of good service. Highly recommended.Superb service from Heinnie as always.

Not really a bushcrafting bag, i was a little disappointed in the quality but for what it is, it's OK, you get what you pay for with this.
