Easy to install using a bit of common sense. Good feel but could have done with a frag pattern or something to give more grip. Hardware supplied is perfect. It is a bit tight but I’m sure will free up with a bit of use, or polishing the washers.

Scales are great, bit tight but everything fits.. Except the tunnel for the damn pocket clip screw. I had to file it down for 30min to make it fit. Knife is quite heavy now and lock bar is painfully stiff but that might be on me.

Hi Rob, Thanks for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear about the pocket clip screw tunnel and the stiffness you’re encountering. That’s not ideal. If you need any guidance on adjustments or would like to arrange a return/exchange, just let us know your order details. Kind regards, Team Heinnie Haynes

Wow makes a dull knife something really special. Fitting is quite simple but tolerances are very tight (which is what you want on finished product) dont expect it to click like lego, you will need some force i used a vice in end and one tip make sure you seat the lock side liner all the way in or lock will travel a lot in final assembley. For the money they are great and transform a knife.

Makes a peasant knife a prince, I love them, easy to fit if you know what your doing with knives, quick shipping into Germany, I have the UKPK and para 2 as well, they make super cool family

Transforms a lw into a tight weight. Gives the pm3 a more premium feel. The tolerances are wicked tight, like had to press the pivot and mini liner in with a smooth jaw pliers. I recommend they delete the mini liner altogether and open the tolerances a wee bit. Thus the 4 stars vice 5. As long as I don't disassemble it it will continue to be an awesome upgrade.

These scales are beautiful. They are well machined and chamfered with a nice blasted finish. I had read other comments questioning the tolerances but found that they were tight and spot on to match the factory tolerances when installed properly. The fit is perfect with slight adjustment of the lock bar screws with the blade slightly open, though this takes patience. I did find that the hex part of the pivot screw took a little bit of pressure to push into the hex cutout on the scale as tolerances are so tight, but this was nothing that a light tap with a mallet couldnt solve. The scales went together beautifully and within minutes of tuning the knife was dropping shut and flicking open perfectly. The weight of the titanium is excellent adding balance to the knife by making it sit better in the hand, this is much better than the factory lightweight. I also noticed the factory knife was not perfectly centered and had a single washer, this kit fixes that perfectly providing 2 phosphor bronze washers and the ability to ce ter perfectly. These scales are a much needed enhancement to the Para3 LW increasing the strength of the knife dramatically, which is important since the lightweight model does not have steel liners and relies on the scales for strength.Lock up on the knife is perfect, the action is buttery smooth and everything is better than factory. If you take the time to fit these scales correctly you will have a beautiful knife.
