Super little lighter, does what it says, no evaporation.

It really is small and looks very nice. The small fuel capacity and no chimney/wind guard (unavoidable at this size) make it unsuitable for use as a main lighter but it makes a great backup lighter if you don't trust your main one, or if you just want to always have one with you in case. The flint wheel is easy to flick, although sometimes it takes a couple of strikes to light. Despite its small size, it's surprisingly easy to light a candle in a jar or firelighter block in a barbecue without burning my fingers. The exposed wick probably helps here. The two-part case and o-ring should prevent the fuel evaporating, although I haven't had it long enough to test this. It came with spare o-rings, seven spare flints and a spare wick were included - generous. The flints and wick came in a nice tiny holder, too.I have found two annoyances so far: one, the o-ring comes off easily if you're not careful, even when just opening and lighting (so it's good they included spares). Secondly, it can be difficult to remove the lighter from the case for refuelling, because there's very little to grab on to and it has been a bit stiff for me so far. Perhaps it will loosen up.Overall I'm pleased with it - it's great for the price.

After 40 years of carrying a Zippo I decided to get something different…the peanut looked like it could be something interesting.I was a bit surprised by the size, shouldn't have been seeing I read how small it was, & in my medium gorilla hands it looks TINY!I was impressed with the addition of extra flints, a wick & o-rings which was most welcome. After filling it I had a go & promptly dropped the lid…so I attached a short piece of paracord with about 5 or 6 Tibetan snake knots with a metal bead to the lid & now I have something to grip when using the lighter.I've found it doesn't handle a breeze like a Zippo does but with a little perseverance it works just fine.I've not had it long enough to judge how well it holds the fuel but I bet it beats the 5-8 days my Zippos would last.It fits nicely in the little pocket on my jeans & the paracord attachment I made aids in retrieving it.All in all I'm very impressed with it.
